Habibie Nazlie started her insurance career in November 2000 with Affin Insurance Brokers Sdn Bhd which later known as CIMB Insurance Brokers Sdn Bhd. Her first assignment was to handle Employee Benefits and Motor claims.

Later, she was given responsibilities to handle Marine and Non - Motor claims as well. The major client includes Lion Group of Companies and CIMB Group. Her major achievement during the time was successfully clearing almost 200 outstanding legacy files of CIMB Group with their previous broker. She joined MIT in July 2014 and is responsible for managing claims.
