Noor Effendy Bin Mohd Ali, a Malaysian aged 53, is the Chairman of MIT Insurance Brokers Sdn Bhd effective 1 April 2018. He was appointed as the General Manager of Palm Oil Marketing on 1 January 2017. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BBc) in Finance from the Northern IIIinois University, United States of America in 1987. He joined Kulim as an Executive at Internal Audit Department in 1990 and transferred to Marketing / Commercial Department in 1993. He was promoted as a Manager in 2004 before becoming the Senior Manager in 2014 until December 2016. He also sits on the Board of several companies within Kulim Group.
